My parents are so random. Now that they have been empty nesters for quite some time, they have the weekends off and just drive where their little hearts take them. Memorial weekend was a quick planned trip to Seattle to see my sister and her family. I couldn't skip out on this trip, I just miss those little nuggets too much. Long trip short...took almost 12 hours to drive there, spent all that time just talking to my parents (I forget how funny they can be), spent the weekend with my adorable nieces and came back home just in time to relax before the work week.
