Adventure time...down a cave! We're finally going to the Moaning Caverns in Vallecito, a town between Angels Camp and Sonora. It was a nice little drive east up the hills near New Melones Lake. The cave tour was short but pretty amazing. It was dark and damp, but when you get to go down the cave its a sight to see. We went down a spiral staircase that took us to the lower part of the cave, but there were other people around us getting ready to go down even deeper into the caves (spelunking)!
We then drove around the little town and ate some lunch, checked out the little historic town, people were dressed like back in the olden days, then hiked a little (yes, I still complained to Mako) to Natural Bridges, which was a nice little surprise at the end of our day.
